Hello Everybody

I am a relative newbie to ASP.NET and obviously to DNN as well.

I have managed to create a Custom Module for my DNN Starter Kit using Visual Web Developer(VWD) Express Edition.

Now when I want to distribute my module I see that no DLL has been created for my module. Are module DLLs not created when using VWD to create modules?

Any help will be great.

Thanks and Regards
Satish Kumar

No you need the full blown Visual Studio to precompile assemblies. VWD now uses the new dynamic compilation model. Check here for more info.
