...if I add a basic Text field, I can add text, but not if the field is Rich Text - all there is is a 'Custom Editor Options' link.

Does this happen on a F&L instance with a single rich text field as well?
there might either be a problem of the module version or a JS conflict between the Editor and the skin (theme) of the page.

I just tested that - a F&L configuration with only one Rich Text field works properly and displays a field for input , but as soon as I add another, the behaviour previously mentioned appears. If I remove the second field and resave the config, the first field appears again as it should. Adding other types of fields seem to be OK, too. That is, if I add a text field in addition to the RT field, I can see both inputs in a new record, but in any combination, whenever there are more than 2 RT fields, the RT fields show the Custom Editor Options link only (the text field shows properly).

Mysteriously, it seems to work properly now. I have no idea what combination of creating/deleting did the trick, but now I can add RT fields and have them show up. One thing that seemed to cause a problem was having a period (.) in the RT column title, but without more extensive testing I'm not 100% sure this is what caused it.
