I have to work onsite for 10 days later this week and won't have access to my computer (or probably the internet), so it's looking like mid-december probably.

Hi Cathal,

Was a fix for the trackback released? or does it still not work? I don't seem to be able to get it to work.

Thanks,

Lee

Any update on this issue?  I've turned Trackback off, but Google's spider found the links and indexed the pages anyway.

I'm having the same problem... Google has links to my site that don't work at all! Can anybody tell me how to fix / prevent this problem? Thanks

You need to create a robots.txt file and place it at the root of the domain for the google spiders to see.  In the file you need to place AT LEAST the following.....

User-agent: *
Disallow: /dotnetnuke/DesktopModules/

The pages will continue to appear in google until the next time the spiders come to each page and google sees the disallow result.
