Hi Sebastian,

I have seen your name appearing on several posts on this forum so I am obviously dealing with somebody who knows the DNN product well.

My original post was not quite worded too well which might have confused a few people. I knew what I wanted to say but was no expressing it too well with my limited knowledge of DNN and how it works.

Anyway, I have moved on since then and decided to go down another path and download and setup a new copy of DNN and start again from scratch. I have down this for version 5.2 which is what we are using in the live environment.

I got as far as the installation wizard loading the new website and presenting me with the home page. But this is where I am now stuck. When I click either the Login or Register links, “Default.aspx” just blinks at me and does nothing. The links do not work. Have tried on IE, Chrome and Firefox.

I found a post, might have been one of yours, which spoke about ensuring the LoginTabIdon the PortalSettings is NULL which it is.

Anyway, this is where I am now and any help, advice or pointers would be appreciated.

Regards, Barry T.
