Hi guys, I got a 3x version working already, and decided to install the newest version. I did everything the documentation said. I am running:

Windows xp pro

SQL server 2005

asp v2x

iis 5.1

Visual Studio 2005

I did everything as last succesful intall, but I keep getting this error:

Server Error in '/dotnetnuke' Application.

Configuration Error

Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level.  This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.

Hello. Review this forums http://www.chilkatsoft.com/faq/dotNetNuke.html , http://www.aquesthosting.com/HowTo/General/ServerAppError.aspx They contain similar questions. Please, make sure if a virtual directory exists.

I am getting this same error.

You said "Please, make sure if a virtual directory exists."

What does this mean? I am using godaddy hosting and I used the ftp and uploaded the new version and not the one that comes with their hosting. Does anyone know what I need to do to get this to work?
