I a newbie, and installing the following

DNN 4.0.3
Windows Server 2003 SP1
MS SQL Express
Site is located in C:\netpub\wwwroot\DotNetNuke

I have installed the DB (DotNetNuke) and everything as per the installation guide. and still have this error. I also wonder about the Connection string for SQL Express "AttachDBFilename=|DataDirectory|Database.mdf;"

But, I just need some help to get past this issue.

DotNetNuke Upgrade Error

The Assembly Version ( [ASSEMBLYVERSION] ) does not match the Database Version ( [DATABASEVERSION] )

ERROR: Could not connect to database.

An attempt to attach an auto-named database for file C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\DotNetNuke\App_Data\Database.mdf failed. A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share.
