I have seen several people ask for this functionality over the years but have never found an answer.

I want to create a module that essentially  functions as a web page section header that has its own content pane that users can add modules to when in edit mode.

I could then leverage containers with the functionality of being collapsible ... accordion... etc.

I Have seen several answers that gets me close... but not all the way there.

Help?!

Perhaps the thing that comes closest to this is the DNNStuff Aggregator module. Recently that has been contributed to the community as an open source project, so you might want to check it out.

I believe that ZLDNN.com still has a module called Flexible Module Wrapper that is similar.

I once built a skin that had jquery tabs structure built around a couple of content panes. I could add modules to the panes, and they would tab. Not particularly flexible, but it served my purposes.
