We've been running DotNetNuke for quite some time.  However with the new upgrade of 4.x when our staff accesses our intranet it takes nearly 1 minutes to load every time.  Is there a way to keep asp.net up and running so that it will immediately connect.  Our site is not heavy laden with large files or large graphics.  Should load instantly.

Thanks for your comments.

I know what you mean, I experienced the same thing here.  I just installed the newest version, so I'll test it some more.

Try SmarterPing (it's free).

That only applies if it is not loaded, and only affects the first page.  In my case, ALL pages load slow on the Intranet, not just the first one.  If I connect from the Internet, it loads fast.

What version did you have before? It might be something that has been set somewhere, whether a setting in the web.config file, a module, etc.

Check this page out. It gives some performamce pointers as well.
