Hi, I am new to DNN and Dot Net.  I was previously a PHP/MySQL developer.

What I need to do this time is to make a copy of an existing custom module and add a field to it.  I have the custom module code in C#.  But I don't have the original DNNTemplates which was in VS 2013.

Any pointers/suggestions on the best way to accomplish this?  Thanks.

if you got the source code, you should be able to add the field to the database table. database interface. business layer and UI code. where are you struggling?

When I copied the project folder into a new folder, the new project won't compile.  I ended up saving the original copy as a project template, and then create a new project using that template.  The new project will compile.  However, when I build using "release" cycle in VS 2013, it does not create the installation zip files.  I am probably missing steps somewhere.
