Hi Michael,

Based on hundreds of email headers, the information pretty much is retrieved from DNN.

Those info are servername and IP, the mailserver hostname, sender email (the only email address we created for DNN smtp)and recipient name and email address (DNN admin display name and email address).

Received: from exampleServer ( exampleServer [xx.xx.xxx.xxx]) by xxxxxxx with SMTP;

exampleServer being my full server name and IP. "by xxxx" is the mail server hostname.

And I'm surprised as you all when the spam continues even I blocked both TCP and UDP port 25 and 2525...
maybe you're right, they already collected the info and forged the header to spam it from elsewhere...

Thanks,
George

George,

is it possible to remove the SMTP information from your DNN site for a while? If yes, I would try that and look if the spam continues...

Happy DNNing!
Michael
