any book about IT is outdated in the moment it comes to the market. Sometimes the author (who normally gets money for the book) feels responsible and maintains a web page (or site) with newer information and corrections.

I know that a three year old blog cannot be up to date, but in many cases I can see the basics and learn and bring my work up to date in the end. A blog author shares his knowledge at the time he writes the blog, he (normally) never gets paid for that, and after a while it is not the newest know-how anymore. But this is not a reason to blame him (I know you did not). Very often it is still a starting point that may lead you in the right direction.

At the end of the day, it's up to you what you do with it.

Lol!  Yeah guys, I know. We all have added some gray hairs keeping up with tech. ;-)  It is what it is, I'll spend the time to dive into that SPA tutorial, and create my own article, which, of course, will be extinct the day after I publish it!
