Hi All,

My DNN 4.3.3 is working great. I tried to set up in my localbox using Windows XP Pro (Not Server2003) so that I can hit remotely. I created a virtual directory called 'dotnetnuke' pointing to my dnn4.3.3 folder. In this case, theoritically I should be able to hit directly thru http://localhost/dotnetnuke/default.aspx (thru my localbox) or http://computername/dotnetnuke/default.aspx (thru remotely)

However, everytime, I hit the dnn website, I always get redirected to http://localhost:4381/dotnetnuke/default.aspx. In this case, I will not be able to hit remotely. I have no clue, how come suddently the dnn gets directed to locahost and added port:4381. I am clueless????? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Greatly appreciated for any feedbacks!

Thanks,

Frank

Check the portal Aliases for the portal you are using. I will lay odds on there not being an Alias for http://computername/dotnetnuke/default.aspx make sure that you put an alias in for http://computername/dotnetnuke and try it again.
