I'm new to DNN, with a background of .NET development.

My client uses DNN platform to manage their publications documents and wants to make an automated process which will send an email with the document to a list of their clients whenever a new document is uploaded to the DNN platform.

Is it possible? where can I read some more info about how to perform this action?

Thanks

Sagi,

first of all welcome to the DNN Community!

Which module is your client using to mange the publications? It should be possible with Form & List, but I don't think that this is a good choice for managing documents (or only a very simple one...)

There are some modules around which are made for document management, e.g. Document Exchange by bring2mind, and this has a notification feature.

Happy DNNing!
Michael
