Does anyone know a way to display a random image inside the html/text module?  I have a great php script but my ISP does not support PHP anymore, and besides, it looks like all my scripts are getting read as html inside the HTML module.  Thanks!

Take a look at Scott's Simple Gallery from www.ventrian.com

It comes with a companion module that will display random images from the gallery. You can place it on any page of your portal, and you can even choose which albums to fetch the images from.

I know this wasn't exactly what you asked, but if you still want to have a random image inside another module, you could turn to Scott for inspiration or advise.

I know that Scott's modules are not free, however, they are very affordable. $20 will get you access to all 10 of his modules for 3 months. Some of them are really nifty.
