That's the problem I have: there are no servers configured on that option, which causes the task to run on all o them. Since I have two instances this causes the error on my original post.

Like I said, IF I don't set the task to run on ONE server, it will run on ALL of them. That causes issues with lucene lock files and whatnot. I am using Azure webapps and I can't control the server names (they can change at any time), so I can't set the task to run on ONE server.

What I am looking for is a way around this issue.

Well, maybe having it run on multiple servers that can run with changing names is not a good hosting solution... Try maybe asking in the new community site forums which may have a couple more eyes looking at posts. (top banner on this page). Maybe someone else with more Azure experience can come up with other ideas.
