Hi,

I'm using DNN 4.3.3 on a Windows XP

I'm trying to do the 'step by ste' posted by Shan Walker : 'Dotnetnuke 4.3 StarterKit and Item Template'

I have a big problemafeter execution the script (pasted from 01.00.00SQLProvider'.
I have no error when i execute it but after when i wand to add the widget module on my page i have this error :

Error: widget is currently unavailable.

I don't understand why ! Can you help me ?

(In a script they say i have to replace dbowner and objectQualifier but i don't know the walue i have to put.)

hi,

Can you find the stored procedure in your dotnetnuke database?

The stored procedure 'dbo.YourCompany_Getwidgets' doesn't exist...

Where did you run the script?
You are supposed to run the entire contents of the 01.00.00SQLProvider script from the Host - SQL box.
You have to check 'Run as script' first !
Then you don't need to change the dbowner and objectQualifier.

By the way, in 4.3.3 this has changed. You can read about in a blog by Michael Washington

Hi

 

First i have a dbo.yourcompany_widget in my database.

Yes i copy(from VS2005)  and past the entire contents of 01.00.00SQLProvider from the host SQLBox and check run script

I will see the blog by  Michael Washington

Argh !

It was only a little error in my <appsetting> in the webconfig file, so database name was not the same....
