Sconard,

Did you get the solution for this problem?  I am too facing the same issue in DotNEtNUke 4.3.7 and its very urgent for me to solve this. I placed my local address but still with popup for windows login.

What are the dlls I need to replace in the DotNetNuke\bin folder?

I replaced DotNetNUke.HttpModules.Authentication.dll after I changed the code in AuthenticationModule.vb.  And what else should be done to login automatically without popup for mixed mode authentication in DotNetNuke 4.3.7?

My issue is in aspnet membership.  My fix has been tested and functions in 4.5.1
There do seem to be problems with child portals.  See my notes:  http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/89/threadid/142968/threadpage/4/scope/posts/Default.aspx

Prior post said:  I have been trying to apply time to this.  I think I have spent 24hrs total since my post so I can tell you clearly that I am flipping like a fish out of water.  I will post if successful.  Let me know if you have any luck.

As to the dlls the httpmodule is the only one needed.  I made other changes beyond the fix found on http://www.getyourowntots.com/ so my list of dlls replaced at the time of writing my fix was a bit longer.

Another key is at the end of this bit of instruction.  Did not function until added to trusted sites.
