I am in the midst of playing with DNN 4.3.3, and have yet to get my development world working as I want.  So, the issue may be related to DNN 4.3.3.  Other users that have connected to MySQL were using V3 and V2 of DNN.  So, give me a bit of time and I will be releasing DNN 4.3.3 versions of my modules.  Once released, you should be able to connect.

Depending on the weather (if too hot or too wet) I will be working on the new version of SQLGridSelectedView over the next few days.. and hope to have something usable in the coming weeks.

Paul.

Hey paul,

Im new to this, trying to set up DNN 3.3.3 on my host, it has MySQL but no other database, I was wondering if u could help me out on connection strings so i can modify the web.config to work with MySQl database. As far as I know the host is asp.net 1.1

Do i need to paste the connection string over

<add key="SiteSqlServer" value="Server= XYZ ;Database= XYZ;uid=abc;pwd=abc;" />

or have it as well as that.

any help u can give me is much apreciated,

Cheers,

Niall
