This error only occurs when a download is cancelled by a client. I found the following related to this error: http://www.velocityreviews.com/forums/t237048-remote-host-closed-the-connection-error-net-2.html.

The core "DownloadFile" method uses BinaryWrite, just like the velocityreviews link you posted - so the error message *is* the same as in the link above.
