Link still takes me to an empty forum which says page 2 of 1. Perhaps the forum that you're linking to is a premium forum for DotNetNuke sponsors?

It's a public forum so you should be able to see it. Here's a link to the first page of the same thread, maybe that will work? The answer is on page 2 though.

Thanks Andrew.

Don't know what happened there.
I guess you can only reference the first page of a thread in the forums.
Another potential bug here?

Cheers

Alex

Yep, sounds like a bug.

Anyway, it sounds like this install error is an issue with the DotNetNuke Core and not the Reports module, so it should probably be brought up in the appropriate Core Forum.

This issue should no longer be a problem in the next release of the DotNetNuke core. If you need a quick fix for now and can change your site to Full Trust then install the Reports module under Full Trust and then go back to Medium Trust once Reports is installed. Reports itself does work under Medium Trust, however in the upcoming version 4.4, some Visualizers may not work in Medium Trust.

Hi.
I try those steps:
1. Change the tag <trust level="Medium" originUrl="http://localhost/.*" />
to <trust level="Full" originUrl="http://localhost/.*" /> of my web.config
2. I try Upload Module Reports_4.3.1_Source.zip, but I obtain an error:

ExceptionSystem.Configuration.ConfigurationErrorsException: Unable to save config to file 'c:\hosting\webhost4life\member\(........)\web.config'. at System.Configuration.Internal.WriteFileContext.ReplaceFile(String Source, String Target) at System.Configuration.Internal.WriteFileContext.Complete(String filename, Boolean success) at System.Configuration.Internal.InternalConfigHost.StaticWriteCompleted(String streamName, Boolean success, Object writeContext, Boolean assertPermissions) at System.Configuration.Internal.InternalConfigHost.System.Configuration.Internal.IInternalConfigHost.WriteCompleted(String streamName, Boolean success, Object writeContext, Boolean assertPermissions) at System.Configuration.Internal.InternalConfigHost.System.Configuration.Internal.IInternalConfigHost.WriteCompleted(String streamName, Boolean success, Object writeContext) at System.Configuration.Internal.DelegatingConfigHost.WriteCompleted(String streamName, Boolean success, Object writeContext) at System.Configuration.UpdateConfigHost.WriteCompleted(String streamName, Boolean success, Object writeContext) at System.Configuration.MgmtConfigurationRecord.SaveAs(String filename, ConfigurationSaveMode saveMode, Boolean forceUpdateAll) at System.Configuration.Configuration.SaveAsImpl(String filename, ConfigurationSaveMode saveMode, Boolean forceSaveAll) at System.Configuration.Configuration.Save() at DotNetNuke.Common.Utilities.Config.AddCodeSubDirectory(String name) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnInstallerBase.CreateModuleFile(PaFile File, PaFolder Folder) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnInstallerBase.CreateFiles(PaFolder Folder) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnInstallerBase.Install(PaFolderCollection folders) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaInstaller.Install()

Please, help me. I do it anything wrong?

Regards,

Javier
