I was running at 3.1 with three language packs installed (es-es, es-uy, es-mx).  After upgrading to 3.1.1, even though in Site Settings:Advanced Settings:Other Settings:Default Language: is set to es-es, the site appears as english.  Yet when individual users log in whose personal settings are one of the spanish packs, the site appears in spanish.  I've tried reloading the packs, and it didn't have any effect.  How do I get the site back to spanish?

I did already upgrade a couple of German portals from 3.0.13 or 3.1.0 to 3.1.1 and did not recognize those troubles. Every went fine and installation of the language pack update had no issues. Please check your install log.

Cheers from Germany,

I don't want to sound stupid, but where can I find the install log?  Are you referring to the messages that were generated by the upgrade process from 3.1 to 3.1.1?  Or to the messages that were generated when the Language Pack was reparsed when I reloaded it?  Neither produced error messages at that time.

Could it be that your browser language is set to english (I.E.: Options - Languages)

3.1.1 uses the first language in the list as the default language for non-authenticated users.

Sorry, I wasn't aware of this change from 3.1 to 3.1.1.  I guess that my first question to my spanish users will be, to what language is their browser set.

This raises another interesting question.  The web site, prior to 3.1.1, was entirely in Spanish no matter what.  Now, with 3.1.1, all the contents of the modules will be in spanish, but the DNN headers will be in english, assuming that a spanish user did not change the default settings in their browser (which, in discussing with my spanish users, is commonplace).  I assume this means there is now no way to make a DNN web site appear completely in spanish no matter who is viewing it.
