Please notice that this thread is from 2005.
Also please note it is the only information I could find on this issue by searching these forums.
Note that I appended to the thread because it was related.

Wow, I cannot get over how knowledgeable and helpful the entire dotnetnuke community seems to be. The whole community has really shown it’s level of expertise with the answers I have received in my two questions I have asked. Thanks for the learning experience!

  I know this is like a year late, but I ran into the same problem (i'm new to DNN and setting up my first site). The solution for me was:

Host -> Portal -> edit portal -> Advanced Settings -> Host Settings -> Site Log History (enter # of days).

I'm sure you already figured it out, but thought I would send the info anyway just in case.
