as i see it use 1 charachter = > with font family webdings so it comes as an arrow..
and it didn't use that breadcrumb.gif image

That's right. But in the default settings of solpart, breadcrumb.gif is set.
On the other hand in de default.css you can find a font-family: webdings...
You can set whatever you like... but you must upload it and configure it. It is well explained in the documentation.

yes actualy you are right about the corner image. but it looks :

RightArrow is not html. its only the name of the image. so i did specify my corner image and it works. but it didn't get the width of the new image. it keeps display a space after my image.

Look at the documentation. Version 4.3.3 - Page 50.
downarrow = menu_down.gif
rightarrow = breadcrumb.gif

An example...
