My host said my site's IIS is set to recycle when the memory reaches "about 160MB" and said my site is running ok.  They asked if I wanted to be taken off the isolated app pool.

I asked if they could confirm whether or not my site has been reaching th e 160MB limit and been recycling but I have not yet heard.

I do know my logs show "Application started" regularly with ten minutes in between and sometimes less.  So I'm interested to see what they say.

JMitch, I sent you an email on your snapsis account.

I was just able to view all more log records before it logged me out.  Nice.  Allows me to post another error I've been getting:

Message: System.Exception: Unhandled Error: ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.HttpModules.UrlRewriteModule.OnBeginRequest(Object s, EventArgs e) at System.Web.SyncEventExecutionStep.System.Web.HttpApplication+IExecutionStep.Execute() at System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

They just removed me from the isolated app pool but have yet to tell me if my site was tripping the limit and being recycled.

Still no word yet but it seems obvious that was what was happening.  I've been able to do everything without getting logged out or seeing any errors and I would have had several by now.

So it seems my site application was being killed because it reached 160MB of memory usage.

Makes me wonder if the memory.exception error I was getting before will come back.

This is so much more fun than working on custom modules and actually makin the site better!

Well it's been like 12 hours without getting logged out.  And my error log...has no errors.  Wow!

Oddly enough, there were seven back to back entries for "application started" with less than a minute and a half between each one.  But no errors so I guess I'm happy.
