I seem to recall reading something that said automatic upgrades from 3.* to 4.* would not be supported.

Is this still the case? We want to upgrade an existing site from 3.* to 4.3.3.  Any recommendations for how to approach this quickly and easily?

AFAIK you can do 3.x to 4.x upgrades (according to Install doc in the Documents .zip).

I tried from a 3.2.0 to 3.3.3 to 4.3.3 and had major problems, documented here...  other people have successfully upgraded, so it could be a 3rd party module or data issue - good luck ;)

That's not quite correct - we support upgrade's between all release versions, what we don't support is upgrading between betas/release candidates(though in many cases these upgrades are still possible, we juse don't spend as much time testing upgrades between betas). If you take a look at the "DotNetNuke Installation Guide.pdf" guide (either in the documentation download or off http://dotnetnuke.com/About/Documentation/ProjectDocuments/tabid/478/Default.aspx ) it contains instructions for upgrading between 3.x and 4.x versions.

Rodney, that link you provided doesn't go to one of your posts - please edit it or post the correct link, and if I get a chance I'll look into it next week (up to my eyes in work at present)

Haacked (I'm guessing you're Phil Haack) - you've been unmoderated.
