Hello, I am a first time user of DNN.  My programming skills are limited, but I'm a very quick learner.  I have web hosting service with 1 And 1 (www.1and1.com), and I have the "Microsoft 1&1 Business" hosting plan, which includes a MS SQL Server DB, and supports ASP.NET 2.0.  I used the install package of DNN.  After setting up the SQL DB and configuring the web.config file, I uploaded evrything to my web hosting.  I also changed all the correct file permissions needed.  DNN installed correctly (or at least my browser said so) and then when ever the site tries to load it fails.  I get a "Server Error in '/' Application"  and a lot more details are listed with the page (my URL is www.morba.net).  Can someone please go to my site and see what it is saying and try to help me out.  I tried searching through the forum, but nothing came up that seemed relevant to my problem, or maybe I'm not searching for the proper thing.  I also contacted my web hosting for support but they don't know what their doing and I can barely understand all 6 different people that I've talked to.  One person told me it has to do with some kind of security problem or something, but I don't know.  I read through all the direction and documents and followed the installation procedures to the T, but am still having problems.  Again my web site is www.morba.net.  Thank you so much in advance for your time!!!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont have any good news for you i am afraid.  I upgraded to the same package you are on thinking it would support this, i have uploaded it time and time again but i always have the same problem you have.  I found a different host and tried to change but 1 and 1 have told me i am tied in to a contract untill next May!!! I am not very impressed, but i suppose it is my own fault for not reading the small print.  Are you still within the 30 day money back peroid???

I have found the best way to find help on this forum is to run a search for the term 1 and 1 but most results are of people moaning.

If you work it out please tell the rest of us.

Good luck
