The web site sends of emails okay when new users register etc. but when trying to send notifications from the forum I have this problem. Under Forum Configuration under Notification Email I have Email Notification checked, Show Sender Address unchecked, Email Format HTML, Automated Address set to the Admin's email address.

Resolution: change smtp settings under host. keeping bugging your hosting company for different settings until you find some that work.
