I have just installed DotNetNuke v4.3.3 using the StarterKit. Everything has worked fine until I tried to add a Catalog page with the Store Modules. This always happens when I click the Add in the Module section whenever I add any Core Module to any page I get a Critical Error stating:

A critical error has occurred.
Keyword not supported: '(local);database'.

Where is this coming from? It is like it is truncating the database connection string some where.
Can anyone help with this error, please...

Steve

Have you added your db connection string into both locations for your web.config? It might be the store module requires the legacy connection.

Yes I have everything working. Changed passwords on admin and host accounts. Logged out and in to test. Closed app and then restarted to verify the changes are maintained. Have added several new pages. As long as you are adding basic controls (ex: Text/HTMLmodule) all is fine but just as soon as you add one of the othe core modules like forums, store, blogs or anything else you receive the above error.

If you or someone out there can give me some idea of which code module the "Module Add" button click event code is in. I will go step through the code and see if I can tell what is happening. I am an experienced C# developer so I just need to get my head around DotNetNuke and this VB .Net.

At first glance it seems to be missing Server=(local).

Since it is happening with every module, can you please post part of your web.config file, specifcially the connectionStrings and appSettings sections? Feel free to change or remove the password values, but not the actual content.
