How do you get the google site map html file set up in DNN so Google can verify the site map?

Thanks, JR

Google sitemap can verify your site in two ways, html file and html tag.
html file: the file supplyed by google must be put in the root directory of your site
(eg. http://www.yoursite.com/googlehtmlpage.htm)
html tag: the html tag supplied by google must be put in the html header of main page of your site
(DNN main page is http://www.yoursite.com/default.aspx)

The simpler way is to put html tag in the home page.
You can do this under "Page Setting->Page Header Tags"

I recommend you use one of the third-party Google Map modules.  There are quite a few of them out there, including at least one free one.  The free one I know about is here:  http://dnn.bi4ce.com/?tabid=264  I know DNN Masters has a great one (more info here) designed to integrate into XMod.  I can recommend all of these, as well as the JetKey GoogleMap module; but these are just the ones I'm familiar with and can recommend, I know there are others available as well.
