Hi There,

A dumb question....

I know on the later versions of DNN you can go into Host Settings and see what version of DNN you are running. But I have a customer installation that doesn't seem to have this option.

Can anyone tell me how to find out what version I am using please?

Thanks

Trev

Trev, this has existed for a long time - perhaps he only has the Admin menu?

There are a few key things if unsure - the clientside Min/Max container options were introduced in 3.x - so if it posts back when doing this then it is 1x or 2x.

If he can do real-time editing of HTML boxes then it is 4.x (without going into full edit mode).

Hi Rodney,

Thanks for the reply.

I cannot find it under Admin either.

I have downloaded dotnetnuke.dll and checked the version indicated on there. It seems to suggest it's 3.08.

Do you think this info is reliable?

3.0.8 was a pre-release "developers only" beta - please ask your host to upgrade to a final version, either 3.1.1, 3.3.3 or 4.3.3
