I've looked through the Language Editior and the resource files but I can't seem to find where to change the text in the button "New Thread" to "New Post". please advise.

I think it is in the Forum_Container.ascx. If it is not there, check the shared one.

For those like me still new to language localization, resource files and how to modify defaults, the DNN control panel route to this setting is:

Admin (or Host) > Languages > Language Editor > Local Resources > DesktopModules > Forum > App_LocalResources > Forum_Container.ascx : NewThread.txt

(DotNetNuke 4.0.3)


If a problem can be solved, there's no use worrying about it.
If it can't be solved, worrying will do no good.
