Hi,

I have created an employee roster, using dnn 4.3.3.  Well what is happening is very weird.  Locally everything works fine, and there is no difference between the 2 sites at all, even the web config is exactly the same.  Well what is happening is if i'm not logged in, it does not display the users, unless i'm logged in as an admin.  To explain a little about the module, you first have a list of departments(i used a role group, and every department is assigned a role in the role group).  Now, all the employees are added as a user and assigned to that department(role).  the interface is very similar to the user manager.  Is there anyone that might be able to help me find out what is wrong here, everything works perfectly locally, but not on the main site.  like i said on the main site you can not see the users unless you are logged in.  I have went throught the code many many times, and there is no checking of security in my code at all, and the only functions being called to get the users are the getusers, getusersbyusername, getusersbyrole.  Is there a possibility that these functions check security? If so, then why not it not check security locally?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Andrew

The obvious first thing to check is if the module's view permissions are set for all users.

I would hope so ...  Yes i have checked and re-checked all the obvious things.  I have been trying to work through this for over a week and a half.  Just so people understand i am not new to dnn, i've been working with dnn for over 3 years now.  I have created modules like this in the past and have never ran into something like this.  I have a feeling it has to deal with the new membership/profile providers, but i can not pinpoint it yet.

Thanks,
Andrew
