Hi,

I have the next problem. Every time I open an own DNN 4.3.3 website for the first time a windows authentication pop-up box shows up. The same also happens after I am logged in as a host and want to leave a module since I uploaded for instance a new module or language pack. If I cancel this popup box I get a Server '/' error. I do not know what to fill in for user and password. So only cancel makes the pop-up disappears. After I have refreshed my browser the problem is vanished, but sometimes shows up again. The problem is always there in the morning when I enter the URL for the first time. I was told that it might have to do with anonymous access rights to the root. But if so, can I set them myself with my FTP program or does the hosting party have to do this for me?

Thank you for the help in advance.

Jelle

I have the same problem, also don't have a clue, what's wrong here. Is it something with rights on folders?
It only happen for my dnn 4.3.x installation, installed with asp.net v2. Is this the problem

Was this problem solved for you Jelle?

Hi,

Not yet solved. I have this problem also since DNN 4.3.x. I am setting up a hosting plan at another provider to see if this will solve the problem. Other solution is to contract somebody to sort it out I guess...
