I've just upgraded to UDT 3.3.3.  An existing UDT Module lost it's default sort after the upgrade.  When I try to go back in and set the default sort, the setting does not save.  I've tried a few different things, such as editing the column properties that I want as the default sort to resave it's settings, but nothing works.  Every other setting that I've tried works except the default sort.  The column I want as default has a Date data type.  And, just trying other things, it seems the default sort cannot be saved using any column.

Any suggestions?

I am not sure about losing the sort order during upgrades, this is possible due to the fact, that these settings have moved from module settings to tabmodule settings. But I just checked, whether they are stored and have no difficulties. Please make sure, that you hit "save settings and return" instead of using the browser back button.

I am having the exact same problem.  None of my UDT are saving the sort field of order.  Paging works fine, I turned that on and off.  It is just the sort fields that are not working.

Some nice enhancements!

Thanks
Rick

Thanks for looking into it Sebastian.  I have clicked the "save setting and return" link.  It does not save the settings.  I've tried to change the display settings to try that out.  Nothing.  Paging has no effect.  CSS class settings has no effect.  Like I said before, I've also tried to edit the column settings that I want sorted and no luck.  I've tried to make the column a required field.  Nothing.  And, I just tried now, to add a new field - that was not there prior to the update - and sort by that field.  Nothing.  Nothing that I try will enable the table to save it's default sort setting.

That issue aside, a do agree with Rick that there are some slick changes to the module.  Nice work.
