Hi,

I'm looking for a good (and hopefully FREE) download module, where users can go to a page and download some zip files of powerpoint lectures that we have.  We don't want the lectures to stream and use up network resources, so we've zipped them up for users to just download and play on their own time.  Any good, straightforward modules ou there?  Thanks in advance!!

There are a number of included (FREE) modules that are part of the DNN package

all of these could be used to provide downloads for your users. Each one has pro's and cons and addresses the requirement in different ways. Check em out .. they're FREE :)

Thanks for the suggestions guys!  I downloaded and installed the Repository...I tried the other ones too...it seems with all of them, I keep getting an error that says :
A critical error has occurred.
Maximum request length exceeded.

which I'm assuming means my zip file is too big???  Most of the files are bw 7-10MB, is there anything that can handle this??
