I know this isn't strictly on-topic for this forum but I've posted on the main forums and had no response and I know this is an issue that has been solved in the Store module.

I'm trying to get the manifest file for a module I'm working on to work with multiple folders in the same way that the Store module's manifest does.  When I try to install this using using the Add New Module Definition link in Module Definitions only the first folder in the manifest gets created and I get an error saying "Error Installing Selected Module Manifest File".

Can anybody here give me a clue as to how this was achieved in the Store module?

Thanks,

    Rob.

Anyone?

I know this is possible because the Store module does what I want.  In fact I didn't know it was possible until I saw it in the Store module.

Can nobody tell me how it was achieved?

Im tring to do the same thing using the store .dnn as a guide, but I get the same error

Rob, I have came to this site so many times, and it always seems that nobody helps anyone around here.

BTW.. I saw you posted this a month ago.  Did you ever get it to work?  If so, what did you do?

Thanks.

OK, I figured it out by tracing.... You have to make sure teh modulename node in the XML is unique in that dnn file.  If you have any that match another node, it will error out because its not unique in the database.

Excellent!  Thanks, I'll check that out.  To answer your earlier question, no I hadn't got it working yet so your answer is very welcome.
