Hi,

I have installed DNN 4.3.4 successfully and added active forums 3.6 for dnn 4.x successfully.

After I have setup a forum and return from active forums control panel the message:

A critical error has occurred.
Method not found: 'System.Data.IDataReader DotNetNuke.Data.DataProvider.GetRolesByUser(Int32, Int32)'.

Is displayed.

Is this an Active Forums problem? Does anyone know why this might be?

C.

There is an updated version on www.activemodules.com.

Mariette is correct.  You need to get the patch from our site for DNN 4.3.x.  Please email support [at] activemodules if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

Will

Hello,

I was using ActiveForums 03.06.04 on DNN 04.00.03 website. I have upgrade to DNN 04.03.07. Now the ActiveForums starts showing the error.

A critical error has occurred.
Method not found: 'System.Data.IDataReader DotNetNuke.Data.DataProvider.GetRolesByUser(Int32, Int32)'.

What If I don't want to upgrade the ActiveForum module to latest version? Is it possible to do changes to code and use the same version of module?

Please help urgent

Thanks,
Mahesh
