Hi

I looked at the change log here:
http://support.dotnetnuke.com/project/ChangeLog.aspx?PROJID=2

...and I notice that there are three fixes related to 4.3.3.
Are these three bugs fixes since 4.3.3 was released (and consequently the actual fixes in 4.3.4) or is it because at this time we are just waiting for the change log to be updated for 4.3.4?

Many thanks

Alex

Hi

I notice we're still not there yet. No biggy.
I just wondered is there anywhere else I can gather what 4.3.4 is about in the meantime?
So far all I've got is here:

Cheers!

No biggy? At the risk of abuse I disagree - surely no one would upgrade a site without knowing what is in the upgrade?

Perhaps the process is flawed if it is halted by one of the 3 people not being able to do it for whatever reason - maybe it has been incorrectly delegated?

I would think this should always accompany the release simultaneously. It's been sometime since the new version and I still don't know if I should upgrade or not.

This list is copied from Shaun's post in another forum.

DNN 3.3.4 / 4.3.4 Release changes

  • Security Fix for User Profile
  • FTB didn't show subfolders the user has permissions for in Image Gallery
  • Changed default Profile Property Visibility to Admin (from Public)
  • Fixed behaviour of GetRolesByUser method so it does not return any roles for an anon user (this was not used in this way by the core, but some modules had used this method, and relied on an empty string for anon users)
  • Remove non-printing characters from Mail Subject (4.3.4 only) - causes problems with email
  • Fixed Module Caching so users with Edit permissions (not just Administrators) see uncached content
  • Fixed web upload so it doesn't use the DataCache ( 4.3.4) for temporary file storage - the cache is unreliable in .NET 2 for this kind of temporary storage
  • Changed EditorType in SettingsEditor to use AssemblyQualifiedName (rather than FullName) so external EditControls can be used with the Editor
  • Fixed GetOnlineUsers stored procedure so the OnlineUsers view in ManageUsers works.
  • Fixed some resx files to make sure they were in a form the resource verifier can verify
  •
