Still really don't know where we are with this one (sorry).

Shaun's post was placed here (thanks!), however the change log just shows two resolutions for 4.3.4 at this time (DNN-2565, DNN-3390) and they appear to be different from Shauns post.

I realise it was important to get this update out because of the security issue, but why isn't the change log being kept up to date? I guess another factor here is that people are on holiday at this time of year. Currently I can't really assess properly whether it's worth upgrading or not.

Many thanks

Alex

p.s. Looking at Gemini Core Framework (public and private) there are a number of issues from early last year that might have been dealt with but still remain unassigned (most appear pretty black and white). I just wonder if a clear out of Gemeni from way back is required, are some issues being ignored here or is the resolution status simply wrong? OK I'm not developing this (yet) but I like to see what the real picture is when I browse the log.... thanks for reading this...

I subscribed myself to the e-mail notification of gemini, add a rule to outlook and you've got the best ch.gif" align=absMiddle border=0>og you can ever imagine. Togheter with the KB-alertz for MSDN, yu are alwast up t odate with your development environment

Regarding upgrading to 4.3.4. There is a giant gaping security hole in DNN4.3.3, what better incentive for upgrading do you need?
My e-mail alerts give me the impresion that most bugs found in 4.3.3 will only get fixed in 4.3.5. Wich is understandable regarding the fact that 4.3.4 needed to get out fast because of the hole.

EDIT: I can see someone is fiddling with the forum emoticons again.

Thanks Purple!

At the moment I'm running locally, so I don't care for the security patch at the moment. I can't release on the internet anyway because of this issue which is fundimental to my plans: DNNP-3708. I am hoping they will look at it in 4.3.5. In the meantime I was interested in any other issues that might be resolved in the meantime (currently hard to do as explained in earlier posts).

I shall take you advise about notification, thanks.

Cheers

Alex
