I have a custom skin that was installed and works great.

In order to get the content to be fixed width (800px) in Internet Explorer.

I made a change to the skins CSS file in \Portals\_default\Skins\MySkin\skin.css setting the width CSS property to 800px in the body attribute:

body{
...
width: 800px;
...
}

Looks simple right? HTML/CSS 101, right? Works in FF...yeah! I look at it in IE 6 SP2 and the content is dynamic. wha?

I have to be missing something extremely simple here, can someone point me in the right direction?

I should have done a more thorough search on the DNN forums.

I was editing the CSS when I should have been editing the ASCX file.
