I haven't looked into this, but AFAIR the recycle bin is simply showing items from the tabs and modules tables that have the isDeleted column set to 1 - a sql query such as "delete from modules where isDeleted=1" should suffice (and "delete from tabs where isDeleted=1" for tabs - please note, AFAIR there is additional application logic which checks if a tab contains the last instance of a module,in which case it deletes it too, so you should probaly add a check for that too)

I just tried the recycle bin. Havent really payed much attention to it before - however it seems to not really be workings.

A critical error has occurred.
The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint "FK_DnnBBGroupModule_Modules". The conflict occurred in database "DotNetNuke", table "dbo.DnnBBGroupModule", column 'ModuleID'. The statement has been terminated.

I am just verifying that this indeed does work... A simple delete statement.  However note that this is a powerful statement so be careful how you use it.  Make sure the where clause doesn't get separated from the DELETE statement. :)  Use at you own risk.  After deleting the Recycle Bin won't show that it's empty until you go to Host >> Settings >> Restart Application.

Note that the Recycle Bin is much safer to use but in my experience it seems to timeout if I select more than three items to delete.  Granted I am working from a site with a lot of pages.

select * from Modules where IsDeleted = 1

delete Modules where IsDeleted = 1

select * from Tabs where IsDeleted = 1

delete Tabs where IsDeleted = 1

-something clever or funny.
