Hi!

I'm trying to have my site look like it in a pda but I can't, everything look too big for the pda format...

I think I should have to change my skin but I don't know where to find skins for pda sites... Does anybody know any way to make my site look well in a pda??

THANKYOU!!!

Back in the DNN 2x days there was a skinning contest that had a skin called PDA. Tyler Fawcett was the author of this skin it seems from looking at the readme file. Distribution of the contest skins was limited to DotNetNuke & the Author. You could try contacting Tyler to get a copy. http://www.tylerfawcett.com

HTH's,

HI!

I've been seraching for that skin but it's a normal skin with a pda theme. It's not a special skin to fit perfectly in the screen of PDAs. I don't know if that exists but what i really want is to have my site with a skin so if you want to visit it through a pda or a pocket pc etc... you will be able to see it in pda format and not with the width of a pc screen

THANKKS FOR YOUR REPLY!!!

I can easily design you one, but it won't look good as a normal website. You will need to set-up alternative pages to redirect to when a PDA/cell phone connects to it. I've gone to my DNN websites thru my cell phone and it sorta halfway works, but you need to remove most the images and the solpart menu...

If you are using DNN3 you are not garanteed that any of the controls will work, epecially if you want this to work on other devices as well, including cell phones.  With DNN 4.0 you will have better luck, since all .Net 2.0 controls are device aware and will render correctly based on the device being sent to.
