A site I manage was also hacked by Nobody Coder...same MO...although this hack was a piece of cake...a vulnerability in a module called FormCreator with a dependent module called BDPDT which basically had an unsecured upload.aspx page in the BDPDT directory. This was really a simple hack...all you needed to do was scan machines that had BDPDT installed and you could upload anything...a picture of your dog or a hacker shell. My site was hacked in 10 minutes, including defacement because of this WIDE OPEN HOLE.

As simon testified here the hacker Nobody Coder really could have trashed the site but getting it back was as simple as restoring the default.aspx page (and of course finding the vulnerability and erradicating the hack tools).

This guy purportedly writes all his 'sploit scripts but from what I am able to discern he was using a widely available shell from a turkish hacker...

Hah! funniest thing I've read all day

but yeah, he will have hacked the platform through some published exploit.
