Forgive me if this isn't the correct forum to post this.

I have a clean build (new machine) with W2K3 (x64) Edition w/ SP1 and I've done a fresh install of DNN 4.3.4. If I log into the portal after the initial setup I get in just fine. However, if I log in with either an incorrect username or password the site hangs. I get the following messages in the event log.

Application Level:

Faulting application w3wp.exe, version 6.0.3790.1830, stamp 42435e74, faulting module mscorwks.dll

NET Runtime version 2.0.50727.42 - Fatal Execution Engine Error (000006427F886338) (80131506)

System Level:

A process serving application pool 'DefaultAppPool' terminated unexpectedly. The process id was '3988'. The process exit code was '0x80131506'.

I've removed DNN and reinstalled with the same results. However, if I install 4.3.1 or 2, I don't get this error. I haven't tried 4.3.3.

I am experiencing the same issue.  System hangs after incorrect login for ~3 min.

System Config:
W2K3 x64
SQL 2K5
DNN 4.3.4

I've noticed that the processes gobbling up the CPU are multiple instances of Dr. Watson (DW20.exe).

Answers? Suggestions?
