In my 4.0.3 installs, the AD groups all synched fine the first time a user logged in.  In the 4.3.4 version, this no longer works.  I haven't seen any blogs for about a year on this module or much on core changes (other than the message that it is to be incorporated).  Has anyone else seen the role synch break?

I am having the same problem with 3.3.4.  Everything was working fine until upgrade from 3.2.2

Now I have the same problem. Roles that match with AD Groups not working....

I am also having the problem of displayName and other AD properties not being added
This is causing me great problems and extra work and there seems to be some answers provided here but others not....

there's a quick fix on the display name issue.  Basically add this to the AddUser SP:

IF ( @DisplayName is null OR @DisplayName = '' )

BEGIN

SET @DisplayName = @FirstName + ' ' + @LastName

END

right before the "IF @UserID is null"

I just wish there was a quick fix for the roles issue...
