When I created a new UDT in DNN v4, I get the following fields added by default.

CreatedBy
CreatedAt
ChangedBy
ChangedAt

The troubling thing is I cannot seem to remove them in cases where I do not need them. I am able to hide them when displaying the table but they do show up when a user goes to add a new record. Granted the user cannot add/edit these fields, but it could be confusing to some users.

Is there a way to hide these fields when adding or editing a record? Also, is there a way to delete them?

Thank you!

P.S. Great module by the way. An excellent addition to DNN.

I am sorry, in the current version you cannot hide these fields from the users. The fields cannot be deleted, because ChangedBy and ChangedAt are necessary for search, What'sNew and RSS support.

Hi.
First thank you for the excellent work with the UDT Module. Also it is very important that you have documented the module so well. I hope this will inspire all the other project teams

I agree though with derekh and hope you can make it possible to hide these fields - as an option in your next release.

Thanks ArntK
