Help!  I'm getting the same error but I tried entering the script and setting my folder permissions but I still get the error.

I am able to create parent portals but not child's.  Maybe I did not execute the script properly?    Can anyone give me the proper steps for entering this script in?   Are there any other possible scenarios where this can happen?

Will this be fixed in the 3.3.6 update? I am having this issue and I need to create a child portal for a prospective customer to evaluate. I tried running the SQL Script and it still hangs in the middle of creating a child portal. Then I just have a bunch of half-baked portals for which I cannot access the Site Settings to delete. PLEASE HELP!
