I get this error message: I cannot back up the transaction log at the webhotel - what to do

File
Error   The log file for database 'viamedi_db2' is full. Back up the transaction log for the database to free up some log space.

Carsten,

Either use:

backup log 'viamedi_db2' with truncate_only

Or

USE viamedi_db2;
GO
DBCC SHRINKFILE (DataFile1, 10);
GO

In MS Query Analyser (SQL 2000), or in a new query window in SQL 2005 Management Studio.
