Hi,

I've set DNN 4.3.3. up on  a client's site (will upgrade to 4.3.4. when I've worked out how to do the upgrade without blowing all the config away!).

I've configured the Blog Module to work as I want it (different people have their own blogs) - the only thing is, the date assigned to a new blog is a day later than the day it was posted on.

I.e.  It is currently 6.30am on Tuesday morning 15 August.  If I add a Blog entry, nothing will appear.  However, the archive module shows that a Blog entry 'was' made on Wednesday 16 August.  I expect that today's entry will appear to tomorrow and have tomorrow's date on it.

I must point out that I have set the Blog Settings TimeZone as GMT+12 and the Portal TimeZone as UTC + 12:00 (Auckland).  COuld this have something to do with it?

Can anyone help?  I have a demonstration to another company in my client's group this morning and will look pretty silly if Blog entries don't appear immediately!

Thanks very much.

Regards

Gary

'Forgot to mention:

  1. The site is hosted on my client's LAN (the file save date is correct - don;t know how to check if the timezone is correct - or how I could compensate for it for today's presentation.)
  2. DNN User's TimeZone is set to UTC+12 (Auckland), too.

Thanks very much for your help.

Regards

Gary

Anyone?

Has anyone had issues like mine and been able to resolve them?

Does anyone understand how the Blog Module works prfoundly enough to be able to point me to places to look or things to try?

Is anyone outside of the US using the Blog Module succesfully and, if so, would you be prepared to let me know what settings you've used?

Thanks very much.

Regards

Gary

the timezone code is being looked at for the next version, at the minute there appear to be some issues with it - i suspect this is one.

Thanks, Cathal.  (D*mn!  'Would have preferred to be stupid (again) so that I could have a fix in place soon!)

Gary
