Here is a question that was asked of me this morning and while the idea makes sense, I've never seen this topic discussed or addressed. Keep in mind that subportals are not an option.


Big Company X deals with 150 other companies that they would like to access their site. In these 150 companies there may be a total of 500 employees that need this access. Is there a way to have a "manager" for each one of these 150 companies manage (add/delete) "their" own employees with giving them "global" access to the User Accounts for the entire site?

Our custom UserManager module (from www.workcontrol.com) can provide horizontal partition of the users based on roles.  Each company can have access to an instance of the module and can add users/assign roles pertain to the company.
